
Paul Birtill was born in Walton, Liverpool in 1960 and is half Irish. He moved to London in his early twenties and apart from a brief period in Glasgow has lived there ever since. He writes plays as well as verse, one of which was short listed for the Verity Bargate Award.
Paul Birtill’s Collected Poems comprises his first three publications, Terrifying Ordeal, So Far So Bad, and Rats Getting Close, plus new poems.
