Tongues&Grooves in the Community has received a grant of £10,000 from the Big Lottery Fund to develop a multi-media production that can be performed with organisations working with addiction from psychoactive substances.

The production will be written and developed by people in recovery from addiction in Portsmouth with the help of a writer, director and production team.

The aim of our project is to look at what’s lost and what’s salvaged in the journey of addiction, and to raise awareness of psychoactive substances and addiction in general.

The production will be shown to organisations working with addiction and to young people at schools and colleges.

The next event for this project is:

Diving into the Wreck
The Journey from Serious Addiction to Serious Mindfulness.
